Objective of NANOGRNADE
Nanogrande’s objective is to close the gap between semiconductor manufacturing methods and current 3D printing technologies. Current additive manufacturing technologies are limited by materials and by particle handling systems making it impossible to manufacture nano or micro structures with high definition. Only polymer stereolithography allows manufacturing at the micron scale, which is not useful for many applications. Even if submicron manufacturing is obtained with semiconductor techniques, they are extremely expensive and slow, requiring clean room facilities, multi-sacrificial steps, high energy and a myriad of expensive equipment, as well as highly trained technicians. Nanogrande´s Molecular 3D Printing fills the gap between semiconductor fabrication technology and more recent additive manufacturing technologies for prototyping and small scale manufacturing making it faster, easier and less expensive.
