Patricia I. Tokunaga is the Director of Operations at NanoCanada. She has been with NanoCanada since its founding in 2015 and oversees the business functions of the network. In her role, Patricia is responsible for managing logistics and implementing strategic initiatives — translating ideas into action. She has executed plans supporting thousands of members at NanoCanada trade missions and conferences worldwide.
Patricia’s background is wide-ranging and includes work in large corporations, non-profit organizations, and government. She holds a management degree with a major in international management from the University of Lethbridge. She also has a Facilities Management Administrator designation.
Finding ways to connect NanoCanada members with partners and resources around the globe is a passion for Patricia. Her current role keeps her in close contact with network members, providing her with a unique perspective of member needs and the most helpful ways to meet them.
Patricia is also a devoted mom who loves spending time with her two children, travelling the world, and experiencing new cultures and cuisine.
