Innovation through Adversity

These days, a simple ‘how are you?’ takes on a genuine expression of concern for our loved ones, our colleagues, and our community. I am living this at so many levels: as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, colleague, friend, and yes, as President of NanoCanada. We are all doing our best to stay home, wash our hands, and take care of each other and acknowledge that it is a stressful time for everyone. I am inspired by our Canadian R&D community that has stepped up to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many opportunities for our advanced materials and nanotechnologies community to mobilize to quickly find solutions. We will make sure that the many provincial and federal calls for proposals are posted on our website as well as social media.

NanoCanada was launched to bring this community together, and we have done that. We will continue to support you in any way we can. Please share with us what you are working on, and we will help spread the word. Tell us how we can help you.

Let’s stay connected.
